Amuza Co. Ltd. Of Japan will initiate creating two-seater leisure submarines here starting next year. The company plans to put on the market the product in the international market asfte a series of tests off the waters of Subic Bay. Armand Arreza, administrator of Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) said after the successful sea trial of the submarine prototype that this will be like a toy for rich people. Everybody now could be Mr. James Bond. |

Napocor (National Power Corp.) will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Korea-based Korea Electric power Corp. (KepCo) to conduct feasibility study on the rehabilitation of the Bataan Nuclear power Plant (BNPP). Estrella Alabastro, Science and Technology secretary, said that while this study is being done, the government is focused on educating people about nuclear power and creating a pool of competitive nuclear scientists. |
